Songwriting as Narrative Structure.

Space for Narrative

For me, music is an interplay of structural decisions. It is not conceived as an isolated work, but as part of a context – as a scene, a motif, or a movement within a larger story. In collaboration with directors and productions, I see myself as a sparring partner who translates the emotional logic of a story into sound. Songs rarely emerge in isolation; they evolve from an internal logic that connects tension, rhythm, and perspective.

Many works function as a soundtrack – not necessarily in the cinematic sense, but as a musical structure that carries a production. In this process, my work often serves as a narrative marker: recurring motifs create orientation, continuity, and meaning across the entire dramaturgical arc.

Auditory Scenarios and Perspectives

Auditory scenarios arise from conscious decisions about perspective: Does a scene require distance or proximity, overview or compression? The shift between an observant stance and subjective perception shapes the musical dramaturgy.

I bridge the gap between the lyric sheet and the master tape by treating music not as a decorative layer, but as part of a structure that guides characters and opens up spaces. Vibes are not just „set“; they are developed from text and rhythm – out of a responsibility to make those subtexts audible that often remain unspoken in dialogue.

Releases and Listening Examples

You can find listening examples and released demo tracks on Spotify or Apple Music, among others. They offer insight into my way of writing, building tension, and carrying emotional arcs through structure and density.

If you want music to become part of your story – not just its accompaniment – I look forward to connecting with you.
